Gluten Free Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Description: This recipe is for people with Celiac disease, who also love pumpkin pie. Even if you do not have the disease, you may know someone who does, and need a gluten free recipe for an upcoming event.

Pumpkin itself is gluten free. So, the key is to use a gluten free pie crust.

Did you Know? Pumpkins can be used to make a gluten free Pumpkin  Flour.

  • 1 gluten free pie crust
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice

Note: If you don't have time to make the crust from scratch, you can buy a gluten free pie crust in the Gluten Free department of many grocery stores.

Preparation Directions:
  1. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In al bowl combine all pie filling ingredients.
  3. Pour it into the pie filling.
  4. Bake in oven for 40-45 minutes.
  5. Cool before serving.
