Hungarian Baked Pumpkin Recipe

Description: Here's a recipe for baked pumpkin that originated in Hungary. It is surprisingly sweet and mellow.

Ingredients:
1 Small Pumpkin or squash, skinned and sliced.
2 Tbs. Butter or Margarine
Salt
Pepper
Cream or Sour Cream.


Preparation Directions:
  1. Put a manageable sizes of  sliced, skinned pumpkin, or half of smaller squashes, in aluminium foil.
  2. Add salt, pepper and butter.
  3. Bake in an oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes , or until it is soft.
  4. Test for softness with a skewer.
  5. It can be served with just about anything- cream, sour cream ,salt.
