Safely light pumpkins

Gramma's Pumpkin Biscuit Recipe

Description: Here's another great recipe From Gramma's cookbook. Okay, so biscuits aren't as popular as in Gramma's day. but, this recipe may change your family's mind

3 cups	Flour
1 cup	Mashed, Cooked Pumpkin
3 tsp.	Baking Soda
4 Tbsp.	Brown Sugar
1 tsp.	Salt
1/2 tsp.	Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 Tbsp.	Shortening

1. Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Mix together flour, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
3. Blend in shortening.
4. Add in pumpkin and brown sugar, mixing well.
5. Roll out dough onto a floured cutting board.
6. Cut biscuits with a cookie or biscuit cutter.
7. Place biscuits onto a greased cookie sheet.
8. Bake for 20 minutes.
