Cranberry Sauce Ingredients
1 cup sugar
2 cups water
4 cups (12-ounce bag) cranberries, washed
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon orange peel
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions How to Make Cranberry Sauce
In a saucepan, combine sugar and water.
Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved.
Bring to a boil, and boil for 5 minutes.
Add cranberries and continue to boil until cranberry skins pop open, about 5 minutes.
Skim off foam, if necessary.
Pour the cranberry sauce into a dish and allow it to cool before serving.
