People just love pumpkins. And some people adore them. As a matter of fact, we love them so much that we build a pumpkin shrine in their honor. The love affair with them is a worldwide phenomenon. How much do you like pumpkins? Hmmm.
Nowhere are they loved as much as in the United States and Canada. We grow them big and small. And we play all kinds of games with them. In the Fall, huge festivals occur all across North America. At the festivals, we place them on a pedestal and weigh giant pumpkins that are thousands of pounds. Of course, pumpkins take center stage at these events. We decorate them, too. Both inside and out, you find them in homes and offices.
Did You Know? “Pumpkin Shrine” is an object in the game “World of Warcraft”. You can find it in the graveyard wing of Scarlet Monastery during the Hallow’s End seasonal event.
