Chocolate Pumpkin Cake is a quick an easy pumpkin recipe. The recipe blends together the great tastes of chocolate and pumpkin. Preparation time is only a few minutes.
You will enjoy this cake all Fall season long. After Thanksgiving, leave the candy corns off, and serve it during the holidays.
Ingredients:
1 box Chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin spice
1 can frosting
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts, walnut or pecan
candy corns
Chocolate Pumpkin Cake Recipe Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350 ° F.
Grease and flour a cake pan.
In a blender, mix together the vegetable oil, eggs, pumpkin, sugar and milk.
Mix in chocolate cake mix. Mix until smooth – 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in the mini chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
Pour batter into the greased cake pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Use a toothpick to test for doneness.
Remove and allow to cool .
Frost top with chocolate frosting.
Sprinkle Candy Corns on top before the frosting hardens.
