This is an International recipe for Hungarian Baked pumpkin that originated in Hungary. It is surprisingly sweet and mellow. You will want to add it to your pumpkin recipe file.

Ingredients:
1 small pumpkin or squash, peeled and sliced
2 Tbs. butter or margarine
salt
pepper
cream or sour cream
Recipe Directions:
Put a manageable sizes of sliced, skinned pumpkin, or half of smaller squashes, in aluminum foil.
Add salt, pepper and butter.
Bake in an oven at 350 F degrees for 30 minutes , or until it is soft.
Test for softness with a skewer.
It can be served with just about anything- cream, sour cream ,salt.
