Move over chocolate mousse. This quick and easy Fall pumpkin mousse recipe has got you beat. Certainly, you can’t go all Autumn long without having this tasty treat at least once. Better still, have it a couple of times. This is the perfect dessert you’ve been looking for!
Yield: 6 Servings

First, in a double boiler, dissolve gelatin in orange juice.
Then, scald 1/4 cup of cream and vanilla extract.
Next, beat together egg yolks and sugar until thick.
Gradually add hot cream to the egg yolks.
Then, gradually add in pumpkin puree and spices.
Beat in gelatin.
Whip remaining cream, and fold into pumpkin mixture.
Pour mixture into individual serving dishes. (Or, pour into a 1 1/2 quart mold.)
Chill thoroughly.
Serve pumpkin mousse cold.
