3 cups flour
1 cup pumpkin, cooked and mashed
3 teaspoons baking soda
4 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 Tablespoon shortening
How to Make Pumpkin Biscuits Directions
Pre-heat oven to 425° F.
Mix together flour, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
Blend in shortening.
Add in pumpkin and brown sugar, mixing well.
Roll out dough onto a floured cutting board.
Cut biscuits with a cookie or biscuit cutter.
Place biscuits onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes.
