Ahh, the old-fashioned Popcorn Ball! Popcorn balls never go out of popularity. That’s because they taste good. And, they are easy to make. Use this Popcorn Balls recipe for more than Halloween parties. It makes a great snack for fall birthday parties, football games, and even year-round events.

Popcorn Balls Ingredients
12 cups popped popcorn (unsalted, unbuttered)
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
4 oz. Jello Gelatin package, any red flavor
1-1/2 cups peanuts, coarsely chopped
Note: Check to see if anyone is allergic to peanuts. If so, omit the peanuts. Or, make some with nuts and some without.
How to Make Popcorn Balls Directions
Put popcorn into a large bowl.
In a saucepan, mix together corn syrup and sugar.
Bring the mixture to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Add Jello, stirring until completely dissolved.
Add peanuts.
Pour the mixture over the popcorn and mix well.
Let cool for about 5 minutes.
Shape into balls, about 3-4 inches in diameter.
Allow to completely cool on a sheet of waxed paper.
