Safely light pumpkins

Wormy Fruit Salad Recipe

To make this Halloween Party  recipe, you start with a Sweet Macaroni salad. Then, you decorate it with a generous portion of Gummy Worms on top.

Wormy Fruit Salad Ingredients:

• 1/2 box Ancini de Pepe Macaroni

• 1 large can pineapple chunks

• 1 can mandarin oranges

• 15-20 red cherries, cut in half.

•  2 eggs

• 3/4 cups sugar

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

• 2 tablespoons all purpose flour

• 8 ounces Cool Whip

How to make Sweet Macaroni Salad:

1. Drain pineapples and mandarin oranges. Save the juice.

2. Cook macaroni, rinse and drain. Set aside.

3. In a saucepan, beat eggs and mix with sugar, salt and flour.

4. Add fruit juice to saucepan.

5. Cook on medium heat, until mixture begins to thicken, stirring constantly.

6. Let mixture cool a little.

7. Put macaroni into a large serving bowl.

8. Fold pineapples, oranges, cherries and cool whip into the pasta.

9. Decorate with candy Gummy Worms. You can even mix a few into the pasta.
