Here’s a great apple crisp recipe that is so simple and easy, that no one believes it. But, they definitely love it!
You’ll enjoy this apple recipe all Fall long. It is great for Halloween, Clambakes, Fall parties, football games and even Thanksgiving. Serve it on a chilly night, when you light that first fire in the fireplace. You will be warm inside and out.
Ingredients:
6 cups Peeled apples
1 cup Flour
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/3 cup Butter or Margarine
Toppers: Vanilla Ice Cream or Whipped Cream
Apple Crisp Recipe Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 ° F.
Mix flour and sugar in a bowl.
Add butter and blend in well to form an even, crumbly mixture.
Peel apples and slice into pieces.
Place apples into a shallow, glass baking dish.
Sprinkle margarine, flour and brown sugar mixture evenly over the apples.
Bake in oven for 45 minutes, or until apples are soft and a light brown color.
