1/2 box Ancini de Pepe Macaroni
1 large can pineapple chunks
1 can mandarin oranges
15-20 red cherries, cut in half.
2 eggs
3/4 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons all purpose flour
8 ounces Cool Whip
First, drain the pineapples and mandarin oranges. Save the juice.
Next, cook macaroni, rinse, and drain it. Set aside.
In a saucepan, beat eggs and mix with sugar, salt, and flour.
Add fruit juice to the saucepan.
Cook it on medium heat until the mixture begins to thicken, stirring constantly.
Let the mixture cool a little.
Put macaroni into a large serving bowl.
Fold pineapples, oranges, cherries, and cool whip into the pasta.
Before serving the wormy fruit salad, decorate it with candy Gummy Worms. You can even mix a few into the pasta.
